Take a look at the numerous reviews on the net which unfortunately suggest their ‘pile em high sell it cheap’ system does not work. Terrible communication structure and clearly not customer focused at all. Reply Link Anonymous 8 October 2010 at 15:39 I recently have my conveyancing done for the purchasing of my town house in the north-east, they were very prompt and easy to deal with. What more could you want! Reply Link Anonymous 25 March 2011 at 14:26 Great service overall. Very happy to recommend them and having seen lots of positive testimonials it would seem others are too so all good. Reply Link Kenza 3 October 2012 at 22:51 Most awful service ever. Do not use them: calls are NEVER returned and emails are not answered. Their tracking system is a gimmick: it does and never worked. Avoid at all cost. This company should be closed down. They are cheap but whatever little you pay , the customer service is actually below 0. “Chan also claims that his clients prefer dealing with their solicitor via email or on the phone”: That may well be the case: it is just very infortunate the their solicitor does not deal with them (the customers) in return either by phone or email – which is a major problem for an organisation which boasts of carrying out the whole conveyancing process via emails and telephone! Awful does not begin to describe this company!!! One word: AVOID. I found out – only too late – that there is a Facebook group of people who have been duped like me. Have a look! Reply Link rj 26 May 2013 at 00:43 I too have had a nightmare experience with this company. they should stick to selling double glazing or vitamin pills, or whatever they did before this joke of a business. PLEASE AVOID AT ALL COSTS Reply Link Lewis 25 September 2013 at 14:10 I fully agree with Kenza and rj. A simple transaction of selling the lease of a Car Parking Space to the freeholders, has taken 9 months so far without a completion in sight. My emails have not been answered for the last 50 days and trying to get a human being on the phone is practically impossible. When I managed to do so, I was given phone numbers which do not answer. When I do get options, each recording tells me I am tenth in line. At present I am in limbo, not knowing if I am still represented or not. Chan or whoever is interested can contact me in the hope of settling this matter. Yours extremely frustrated. Lewis. Reply Link Curley 3 October 2013 at 21:07 They have gone bust and taken a friend for everything. Reply Link James 4 October 2013 at 09:37 Sadly folks (or gladly for future clients) They have ceased trading, Just goes to show the old saying Buy cheap, Buy twice is still valid Reply Link David Robinson 7 October 2013 at 18:20 Curley’s friend should not give up hope of recovery, as I have found for a young couple who might have lost all after using Abode/Ark/Action Conveyancing. And an observation, how easy it seems that past misdemeanours of lawyers can be masked by a name change that the Society and SRA appear to accept quite readily? Reply Link Dean 19 November 2013 at 12:41 Well I cant say I’m surprised this firm has been shut down, having worked there, I expressed concern on how they deal with things, only to be fobbed off by staff and treated in a very unprofessional manner. Thanks to the SRA people will not be scammed by this factory firm. Reply Link Name Email Cancel reply Threaded commenting powered by interconnect/it code.
