The shortlist for The Lawyer HR Awards 2011 highlights thoughtful leadership and community engagement at a time of unprecedented challenges for the industry.
HR teams have had to deal sensitively and in an appropriate manner with major workforce restructurings as well as the implications of outsourcing arrangements, working alongside their colleagues in communications to deliver information effectively and openly to staff.
Under leadership from the profession’s top HR directors our shortlisted teams have thought outside the box, investing in the future through first-class training, innovative graduate recruitment initiatives, lateral hires and promotion of the best talent.
The best firms have also found ways of working alongside senior management to engage staff and increase morale through keeping up their investment in corporate social responsibility and diversity.
The Lawyer HR Awards 2011 presentation ceremony, to be held on the evening of 8 February at London’s Grosvenor House Hotel, will be their night to shine.
