Revealed: The Lawyer Awards 2007 shortlist

More than 80 different firms and organisations appear in the shortlist for this year's Lawyer Awards.

The hundreds of entries, supplemented by The Lawyer's own research over the course of several months, have given rise to the most diverse shortlist ever, reflecting the health of the commercial legal profession.

Top City firms are well represented, but there are also good showings from a variety of other practices. Those firms shortlisted the most include those with the greatest spread of business, such as Allen & Overy, Ashurst, Clifford Chance and Linklaters, but there are strong showings from firms such as Mishcon de Reya, Trowers & Hamlins and Simmons & Simmons.

The Lawyer Awards shortlist has also produced a stellar set of nominees in the in-house categories, with organisations ranging from Which? to Nestlé.

The premier event in the legal calendar takes place on 26 June at The Grosvenor House Hotel. Be there to find out the winners.
