How does all of this stack up against the UK and other european governments crack down on corporate tax avoidance? It sounds like these people have their heads buried in the sand. European companies will be persuaded to stop using the offshore in the face of this initiative, although offshore firms with strong Asian and Middle eastern offices may be somewhat insulated from this onslaught as these regions are not sensitive to the tax avoidance row in the Western.
