Mipim...... ... overall the industry mood is pretty thoughtful not surprisingly but a lot of serious property players there still. We had two very good interesting lunches for clients with a good mix there including from US state dept. We like to introduce and mix clients up who can then do deals. In terms of lawyers the usual suspects. The boats all moored up included lovells, freshfields, norton rose, jones day, but no huge boats in the harbour with helipads as in previous years. No sign of DLA cafe or lawyer beach parties and legal events more low key - more small serious meetings than big parties. For us we've achieved what we wanted seeing our clients out here and meeting contacts. Now heading to marseilles on the 6.30 coastal train beautiful red sunrise. across the med.
