Cobbetts: Tough guise

Looking up. Cobbetts has NOT "intoroduced a four day week for staff". Some corporate lawyers in Manchester are working a 4 day week. This is a tiny fraction of the workforce and a much better option than making people redundant who will be needed when the work picks up. Morale is great considering the redundancies. I put this down to the management's open communications with the staff. They are transparent and honest and unlike other firms there has never been any attempt to 'performance manage' people out to massage the redundancy figures. I wonder how much "fun" it is working at the numerous firms where this happens.
