ATE insurers look for about 50%???? I'm sorry, but the idea that QBE insure anything other than strong cases is, in my experience, utter nonsense. From talking to other lawyers I know QBE seem to reject pretty much everything that goes their way. It's unclear from the article the point the author is trying to make - when do funders and insurers work together and why? If the author is trying to drum up business for himself I think he has failed. In my experience, taking advice from people who have their own business interests at heart is almost always a recipe for disaster.
