Settling with State Authorities in Russia The advice that disputes with state authorities should best be avoided is, frankly, garbage. Litigation in Russia is relatively quick and inexpensive and, absent overt political pressure (which is much rarer than you might think), one can be confident of winning on the merits State authorities and agencies - their legal teams are generally clueless.
