Another slant I fail to see how the loss of a property finance team can be portrayed as a negative event in the current climate. This firm has no more problems than any other at the moment. The 'dwindling numbers' and 'staff contraction' referred to actually reflect the firm's intentional strategy of removing poor performers, scaling down non core practice areas and focusing on its strengths, as evidenced by the AIM and PE expertise begrudgingly acknowledged in the final paragraph. Step up Halliwells / DWF etc - your turn next, yawn.
