UK, USA seen as more corrupt, world study says

The wealth divide This isn't a prelude to a call for socialism, but as the gap between the richest and the poorest in both the UK and USA widens, those at the wrong end of the spectrum feel hard done by, and corruption is more likely to arise as they feel they are simply righting an imbalance. (Though that's not to say they're right to feel so). If the credit crunch hits the poorer in those societies harder than the rich, expect more to follow.
