Real economies ... or not, as the case may be. A lot of second-rank City firms are going to be feeling the pinch very badly. In the good times clients aren't that bothered about charging rates, but unless you actually need the expertise of a Magic Circle firm why pay twice the rate of a regional lawyer for his equivalent in the City?
