london based But will he be as effective in London as he could be in the Middle East? Having said that, Ashurst is a good move for him, bearing in mind they have a relatively small Islamic finance practice he can become one of the firm's big fish quite soon whereas had he moved to a magic circle firm he wouldn't be in quite the same position due to their established Islamic finance teams.
