Disgusted I hurt my foot playing football in the park as a teenager - for which my mate Dave accepted liability - and was forced to spend subsequent years drinking lager with my friends and watching horror films on the sofa. Yet how much did I get for my injury? Nothing. Once again, it's one law for friends of Alex Ferguson, another for the rest of us.
