Overworked’ QBD judges blast long hours culture

Overworked judges I have considerable sympathy for the Judges' complaints. We recently had a trial in which the first thing the QBD Judge said was that the Court service didn't have anyone available to bring the trial bundles from his chambers to the Court room, and that he desperately needed help. We and the other law firm lent a couple of paralegals. Needless to say, none of the clients present from both sides (who had flown to England to be present) were very impressed by this state of affairs.
