Judges get make-over from Brit fashion star

Judicial dress This new robe seems relatively elegant but it seems a shame that the sleeves are a little mean in shape. Surely, real bell-shaped sleeves would have been better, although I favour the long sleeves like those of the QC's or MA university gown. At least this looks 'cool', I suppose in either sense of the word. Over all, I cannot help feeling that the small economies saved on judicial court dress are almost irrelevant in the light of other government over-spending.
