Offshore confusion Interesting article. As a recruiter in the 'offshore' markets I am constantly explaining what that actually means. As the above indictaes it is no easy task these days. Suffice to say that while the traditional offshorers in Cayman, BVI, Bermuda and the like are relishing the end of (Grisham) days, the new sectors seing massive growth such as Singapore, Dubai and Abu Dhabi are ramping up for a big year. By the end of 2008 'offshore' could well mean 'anywhere that is not London or New York'...
