Partnership appointments I would be interested to see how these statistics stack up in relation to attrition figures and numbers of lateral hires. It's hardly surprising or creditworthy that firm appoints a disproportionally high number of partners if they have lost quite a few, especially if internal promotions result from a firm's inability to attract lateral hires.
