Welcome We look forward to working with Mr Edmonds as he steps into his new role at the Legal Services Board. The Bar Council made a significant contribution to the wide debate which resulted in the Legal Services Act, and we will look to work closely with the Legal Services Board to deliver a successful implementation of the reforms to the regulation of the legal profession. We are committed at the Bar to the regulatory objectives and professional principles contained in the Legal Services Act and to providing high quality advocacy and advisory services, through a well regulated and independent profession. We therefore anticipate a positive and dynamic relationship with the Legal Services Board.
