Nonsense How can you possibly suggest that associates can have invested "one third" of their life with A&O before being rejected? You will be up for partnership 7 or 8 years PQE. If you trained there, you will have invested 9 or 10 years, not exactly one third of a life(!) Further, the investment is in yourself not in A&O, if you are smart about it. There is no secret that partnership is not guaranteed.
