Law firms ready themselves for huge taxi bill

Safety first? As a female member of staff at a City firm, I recently had the benefit of a taxi home on several occasions during a particular project. I would have been unwilling to work as late if this had not been available and I had to find my own way home late at night. Although the tube itself is relatively safe, the walk at either end of the journey is not one I would like to make by myself late at that time. I think the 'Revenue bureaucrats' should think about employee's safety before lining their own pockets.
