Legal Services Bill gets House of Lords' blessing

Setting up as a limited company iLaw was established last year. We decided to set the firm up as a limited company to provide us with flexibility in the post-Clementi environment. While we do not currently have any plans in that direction, it gives us the ability to implement alternative ownership structures more easily than through a partnership or LLP. Being a limited company also looks a bit more modern to the rest of the business world than the traditional partnership structures. This lends credence to our claims that we are a genuinely modern law firm (there are many other innovative aspects to our business model too).
