London: not as sexy as Bradford, apparently

Sutton fiasco Just to get the record straight for all the Sutton Coldfield geeks out there. According to Birmingham City Council "Sutton Coldfield is a town within the city of Birmingham". This is because in 1974 Sutton was absorbed into Birmingham. Therefore Sutton is certainly not a city, but a town, and I guess arguably not divisible from Birmingham. However, as a Brummie I can say that no Brummie actually regards Sutton as part of Brum. However, as no one gives a damn what Brummies think all of the above should probably be ignored.
