Peter Smith J case: the first test of judging the judges

OJC Complaints upheld I am curious about the complaints that were upheld and who made them. Presumably, most of those that were upheld were made by those in the legal profession. I know ordinary litigants who have apparently been justified in making allegations against a judge's conduct in court but the reply is always that person notified cannot interfere in a legal matter and the conduct issue is ignored. I still have a video sent to me a few years ago about an investigation by someone in the media and how horrified he was that there was no record of how many times a judge had had his judgment appealled. He found one judge who had had a very large number of his judgments successfullly appealled. Judges are under enormous pressure to deal with cases quickly and unfortunately this means that self-litigants in particular are not given time to make their allegations in full and find themselves crossexamined before they have had a chance to give their evidence.
