CoA costs ruling a blow to Jackson reforms, say litigators

This is decision from the Defamation Costs Management pilot scheme. This individual case has therefore little importance. However, I suggest reading Para's 27/28 of the judgment, under the heading "The Future" .. Jackson rules, "differ in some important respects from the practice direction with which this appeal is concerned".. We are less than 10 weeks away from some of the biggest changes in legal costs in my 30 years in the law. I hope you are all ready?
