There were 50 tremors caused by the 6 stages of hydraulic fracturing of the Preese Hall Farm well. The significance of the largest, magnitude 2.3 is that it damaged the well itself - both the steel pipe and the cement casing - so the integrity of the well would seem to be at risk already. The tremors are significant, just not in the way reported by the media.
