How many more top level English law (+ HK law) partners will Davis Polk need to hire before they become a threat to the Magic Circle? Clearly not there yet, but if their English law growth continues it will soon have an impact. After that we are looking at some very interesting strategic implications for a lot of top firms on both sides of the Atlantic.
