Let's not forget that in the 1990s Dickinson Dees was a top 30 law firm. It's (largely) the same people who today are toasting the merger, who oversaw the firm fall to a paltry 58th place. I really hope I'm proved wrong, but I predict that from 1 May 2013, Bond Dickinson will begin a slow decline down the UK rankings.
