LPC v BPTC employment prospects

Comment

Sigh...if you had gone through University around five years ago or longer you might have been in with some chance in the legal profession. Sadly (for you) even those of us actually dedicated to becoming lawyers struggle and quite frankly if you are in your final year of a law degree and don't even know the difference between the LPC and BPTC or even what branches of practice they qualify you for, you are clearly not serious about becoming a lawyer. As such, you chances of qualifying are miserable to none unless you have close family working in the City. Seriously, are you even for real? Google would tell you! Actually, properly reading virtually any article on this website would tell you! Either you are fishing for attention or are so lacking in common sense, research skills and self-motivation that no self-respecting firm or chambers (Google those too) would ever take you on. Try a business-related career such as one of the many graduate recruitment scemes available from big companies. They offer solid careers for people with no direct ambition. And the pay is usually a lot better than trainee lawyers.
