I hope he wins very substantial damages from a lot of people who were happy to fan the flames of hysteria. These accusations are about as bad as they can get and no apology or retraction will make it right again. Look at the comments on the Daily Mail today to see how many people say that there is now a cover up to protect him - he will forever in the eyes of some be considered guilty. What an appalling injustice.
