Local authority bodies moot merger as Law Society reviews grant

I agree it makes sense to have one voice in local government however, stronger efforts should be made to keep our links with the Law Society. I further believe joining with an in-house division should be viewed as a positive way forward and LLG should perhaps be focusing on how to retain our autonomy and ensuring that the best interests of its membership are maintained within the in-house division of the Law Society.
