But only opening in Dar es Salaam is of course strategic chiz. As any fule kno the seat of government is Dodoma. That will be the gap in the market for DLA. The La Jolla-Dodoma axis is all important for anybody wanting to exploit the considerable deal flow between Southern California and East Africa. But don't count out Herbert Smith: that Guinea-Tanzania front is looking positively Napoleonic. They just have to make sure they don't caught in the Angolan salient like some Portuguese firms.
