Nabarro's Carvalho and Stedman enter senior partner race

First comment obviously written by someone at Nabarro. Interesting that both candidates are relatively recent laterals and that no-one home grown stepped up. Speaks volumes about the lack of confidence now pervading the firm after years of mismanagement by the current leadership team. And of course the fact that there's a corporate partner going head to head with real estate will make it interesting. Nabarro has for years wanted to shake off its real estate dependency, although that's where the clients are and the deep experience lies. So I reckon Steadman has an advantage, not necessarily because he is a better candidate. The firm will want to send a message out that corporate is king. But real estate probably has the edge on numbers and assume votes count equally. Good luck to both of them.
