Bakers and DLA Piper among 40 firm websites hit by computer glitch

Hear hear @ Anonymous 12:36pm. Yes, what's the point? It's not as if law firms (a) invest any money or time in their online content, including profiles of their practice areas and lawyers and know-how; or (b) depend in any way on their websites as the major source of information for potential clients. Why on earth don't the affected firms simply commission 1000-page brochures and have them delivered by hand to everyone in the world who instructs or might instruct them before retiring to El Vino's (post-lunch at Sweetings) given that it is a Friday.
