A 100 page version of The Lawyer UK 200 was published in print yesterday and went to all subscribers to the magazine. This will also be made available to registered users of thelawyer.com next week. The enhanced version of The Lawyer UK 200 is the result of months of work, interviews and analyis by The Lawyer's editorial team - it is not just a rerelease of firms' data. To give away content like this is simply not sustainable for any publisher. If the legal sector wants to maintain a robust and independent press that provides reliable industry benchmarking data it must realise that some content has intrinsic value.
