Training Contract v Paralegal interview

Comment

Paralegal interviews vary greatly from firm to firm. Broadly speaking, there will usually only be one interview before you are offered the position or not. In most paralegal interviews you will meet one or two members of staff from the firm, and unlike TC interviews you will probably not be involved in group exercises with other candidates or have extensive testing. Sometimes for particularly niche roles tests may be used, i.e. if the role requires certain language skills or previous experience in a certain area. Paralegal interviews will also tend to be shorter than TC interviews, with the latter often lasting a whole day. You should expect to be asked in depth about your CV, especially your academic history and any relevant work experience.
