This is twaddle. How can a costs bill of £100m possibly amount to evidence that costs are under control? Bracketing the Equitable Life case together with BCCI is nonsense. There was nothing wrong with the way in the which Equitable was managed by the court. The only thing wrong with the £2.6 bn claim was its merits.
