Too broad a brush to get the green light

Comment

One of the reasons that people are concerned is that there are many social enterprises (SE) that are nonprofits rather than for-profit businesses. I agree that the defintion has become too broad --my first question when speaking with someone about SE is what is your definition of social entreprise? I am a member of the Social Entrepsie Alliance and there is much debate about the defintion. I think that it is great that company's now want to contribute to social and environmental goals, can't they already do that without being trademarked as a social enterprise?
