A great article and poses some inarticulate questions: what are the implications going to be for those homeowners that do not benefit from a clear search result or an indemnity policy and suddenly find their property burdened with a registered chancel repair liability? Will insurers be offering insurance policies in this respect or will these unfortunate homeowners be left with an undesirable sale property? Should homeowners falling within this category be scrambling to cover themselves?
