Game for a laugh?

What a relief to find someone writing logically about the legalities of this subject, rather than getting brainwashed by the unending hype. The fact remains that there is actually a quiet minority of us who have interests other than the Olympics and who, whilst not wishing the Games any harm, nevertheless wish to continue with our lives without being forced to change course and pretend an enthusiasm which is absent. Whatever our personal views, it is still important that employers and employees are aware of the legal position; if employers wish to use their discretion to allow breaches, that is their decision, but employees should not expect that as a right, however much the media and government try to pressurise.
