Greenberg partners to pay in capital to create 'equity cushion'

And that "further equity cushion" should be converted into bonuses and raises for the staff. The staff is sick and tired of hearing at every staff meeting opening that "due to the severe economic conditions, the firm cannot give you a raise this year," etc.. while the partners are sleeping on a comfy cushion. That comfy cushion should be shared. A 1 to 5% shareholder contribution will hardly make a dent into the millions they have stashed into their comfy down cushions. Come on, make it at least 25-50%. Do I sound like a Marxist, no I am just for the sharing of wealth.
