Prosecution made twits out of CPS

Comment

It is doubtful that the CPS decided to prosecute "on the basis that it was a slack day in the office" or that those in the CPS possess less than the "meanest intelligence". These comments suggest that Mr Small lacks a decent sense of perspective. Perhaps, for example, it is for the DPP to establish the extent of the criminal law, even when this may be unpopular. In any event, Mr Small does himself and his firm a disservice by deploying this kind of cheap criticism. Readers of The Lawyer also deserve a more balanced (yes, intelligent) view.
