I go to work in jeans and a t-shirt most days. It has never so far hampered me in giving at least as good legal advice as any suited and booted people on the other side. When reading a copy of The Lawyer on the tube I sometimes get looks from some of the suited and booted brigade (wer are next door to an MC firm) along the lines of ‘you must be in IT and picked that out of some lawyers’ waste paper bin’.
