The writer is still studying for the BPTC - you have a long way to go. Much harder to keep your spirits up once you are out of the mix and fighting for paralegal scraps. Commitments, grades, minis etc etc are just par for the course and do not help you stand out from the 500 or so other applications. In my experience, there is no substitute for getting a 1st from a top university. If you have a 2:1 you need to have something very different about yourself.
