My dear Anonymous friend @7:41 am: No salt needed whilst digesting my commentary. True is true; suffice it to say that in my trade I have spent a lot of time analyzing law firm compensation structures and that led to a good bit of time spent looking at PB, which arguably has the most transparent comp. structure of any global firm. And, as for world rankings, I believe we can agree that the demise of D&L should put paid to any credibility in those rankings (recal the "downgrade" of D&L by The American Lawyer rankings, BTW). Ciao.
