King & Wood Mallesons looks West for international expansion

Forget national consolidation of the profession, this shows its all about the international platform. In this competitive market where rates are being driven downwards one wonders whether the favoured partnership model can survive. Management has to move quickly to secure the most attractive of mergers and sometimes its difficult to get the lawyers to follow. We are in a profession which is dabbling with mass market change, it's do or die.
