It is interesting that people still think that Bakers is a US firm. It is not - it is a federated firm that just happened to be founded in the US. In fact its US operations are smaller than the the HK/PRC and London offices and the firm does not have a head office. It has some global operations in Chicago but the global chairman sits in Sao Paolo and other global roles sit in Manila, HK, London, Sydney etc etc. Most of the global leaders are not US but are Brit, Indian, Aussie etc etc. So in reality, Baker is not really a US firm, it is an international firm that was founded in the US
