Divorce: the blame game

Great post. Here in the US, many states have adopted "no fault" dissolution. As a mediator, I often see parties dwell on the past which usually prevents them from reaching an amicable resolution. Scrambling to find fault with the other party only worsens that already-prevalent dynamic. There are statistics that prove that any "increase" in the rate of divorce is unrelated to the implementation of "no fault" statutes and, instead, the result of other sociological phenomena.
