I agree with "Somewhere over the rainbow...in Mauritius" that Lord Mance has the potential to be a good President if he succeeds in being elected. He has the experience of being in at court since 2005 and has sat and presided over some very important committees. Lord Dyson has only been at the court since 2010, but if I recall correctly he used to have administrative duties while he was at the Court of Appeal so I guess he already has experience in managing the work of a court. Out of the 3 candidates "The Lawyer" "gives" I would also prefer to see Lord Mance in the post. That being said if Lord Neuberger enters the race, I think he will eventually be the one to replace Lord Phillips. I guess it will be a bit odd since he left before the House of Lords became the Supreme Court because he didn't like the change, but I think he is out of all the possible candidates the one who has all the administrative experience the post of the President requires.
