Freshfields halves City promotions in 20-strong global round

The "City law firm" model is collapsing under the weight of its own greed and short-termism. Chinese law firms are far more likely to dominate the global market in the future than the likes of Freshfields. Their domestic market will shortly be multiples larger, and they are far more focused on market share than the interests of a greedy few at top.
