I agree with Val. Public money, £3,000 per week, x 16 weeks = £48,000, spent locking-up a non-violent FIRST time offender (for this type of crime). Much cheaper for 100 hours of community work - more sensible too. Golly gosh why are some Judges oblivious to the obvious ???
